Youth Summer Art Classes The Thousand Islands Arts Center ~ Home of the Handweaving Museum has announced its modified summer youth programming schedule.  As the North Country Region enters Phase Four on Friday, June 26, the Arts Center is excited that its children’s camps will be allowed to run, albeit with a few changes.  The Youth Summer Art Camps will begin the week of July 6 – 10 and run all summer for youth ages 5 – 10.  Camps are 9am – noon, Monday – Friday. Finders Keepers CLAYTON, NY (June 15, 2020) – The Thousand Islands Arts Center ~ Home of the Handweaving Museum recently opened a new estate and thrift shop called Finders’ Keepers at its 321 James Street location. Leslie Rowland, the Arts Center’s executive director, said: “The idea of a secondhand store was conceived in a brainstorming session after we learned that we had lost our tenant due to the double whammy of construction disruption and then the pandemic. So we decided to make lemonade out of lemons!” All merchandise is donated and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Arts Center. “During
