The Arts Center offers classes for adults, teens and children in a wide variety of artistic mediums. Our very first class (weaving) was held in 1966 and had 44 students. From that point on the Arts Center, although going through several name changes, has always remained true to its original mission – celebrating textiles by developing a renowned permanent collection and fostering art education through unique classes instructed by artists. The combination of an extensive permanent collection and art education creates endless inspiration and a unique atmosphere for you to pick up a new craft or polish up your trade.  
      
Operating year-round, a cornerstone of the school year is the After School Arts program which runs during the academic year for local students grades K-8.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:
• As a courtesy to our instructors, if you elect to withdraw from a class less than 7 days prior to the beginning of the class your class fee is non-refundable unless your spot can be filled. If you withdraw from a class at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the class a refund will be issued.   
• In the case where it is necessary for the Arts Center to cancel a workshop, you will be notified and your tuition will be refunded.
