Pair of orange linen placemats with blue borders. Fine natural linen warps and orange linen weft. Borders of plain weave and overshot in light blue, green, purple, and dark blue. Mat, Table 93.5.84
Off white and silver placemat. Off white background of design consists of beige rayon singles in warp and white rayon threads in weft. White threads appear to be woven with two singles per shot. Silver metallic threads are woven with a thicker, Z twist yarn to create textured, silver bands. There are three of these bands in varying widths. Silver bands are woven in twill.
