Description: Shawl in cotton multicolored stripe with central panel showing cream background with diamond shapes in rows. Old records note that this shawl is Syrian.

Shawl is made up of three panels. The two outer panels are identical. They have vertical stripes in yellow, rose, green, cream, navy and black threads in warp. Weft threads are black. Central panel is cream cotton with black and green stripe running assymetrically along length of fabric. Inlaid threads across weft create mulicolored diamonds in rows.

Machine stitching used to join pieces and shorten one length to fit. Striped border at each end.
